A perpetual “Not Ready” state when attempting takeoff in position mode can be caused by a few issues. By clicking on “Not Ready” in the application, the system should state a cause:

Potential sources Causes What to inspect
No Valid Position Estimate Taking off in Position mode requires good performance of the positioning system. Please visit this troubleshooting topic: ‣
No Valid Height Estimate An inaccurate or untrustworthy height estimate can cause the system to reject takeoff in Position or Altitude mode. This is usually caused by moving the aircraft dramatically directly after power on, or while the system is being powered on (before the system tones). To solve this, power cycle the aircraft and allow it to sit still until the aircraft has completed its connection with the controller.
No Valid Yaw Estimate An inaccurate or untrustworthy yaw estimate can cause the system to reject takeoff in Position or Altitude mode. This is usually caused by moving the aircraft dramatically directly after power on, or while the system is being powered on (before the system tones). To solve this, power cycle the aircraft and allow it to sit still until the aircraft has completed its connection with the controller.
Throttle Not at Zero When attempting to arm the system in “Stabilized mode”, the aircraft requires you to “zero” out the throttle. Bring the throttle stick to “zero” as you would on landing, and attempt to arm.
