GCS Operation

First, confirm the antennas are secured to the radio backpack of the controller. Next, plug the USB-C from the backpack into the ROG Ally USB-C charging and Data port. Then, power on the ROG Ally. QGroundControl will automatically open. Once the GCS is fully on, power on the Arrowhead and proceed with normal flight procedures.

To power off the GCS navigate to the desktop, select the windows start button, and follow the prompts. Store GCS completely off for the longevity of the system. Unplug the USB-C cable of the backpack and remove antennas to prevent damage when transporting the GCS.

The Asus ROG Ally is windows based, with much of the same functionality you would find on a windows laptop. The joysticks built into the device offer some custom functions that are different from what a standard laptop can offer. The Command Center menu is displayed when the command center button is pressed. Command Center allows for quick access to critical features, such as: Screen recording, Keyboard and Desktop Access.
