Every system leaves our manufacturing center mission ready. Although every Arrowhead ships to operators ready to be put to work, it is the responsibility of the owner/operator to first familiarize themselves with the local and federal regulations including 14 CFR Part 107 as applied to commercial, professional, or public entity operations.

<aside> <img src="/icons/light-bulb_yellow.svg" alt="/icons/light-bulb_yellow.svg" width="40px" /> FAA regulations do not apply to aircraft being flown exclusively indoors. The Remote Pilot in Command is the solely responsible for safe operation the safety of others while the Aircraft is in flight.

Be sure to familiarize yourself with the checklists and safety instructions included with the system. Ensure that you are confident and capable as a Remote Pilot in Command before utilizing the Arrowhead in the field.

Please contact your Uniform Sierra Representative for more information if you have any questions about your ability to operate the system. Remote and in-person training packages are available.

Remote ID Compliance

Arrowhead is sold primarily as an indoor operated aircraft and DOES NOT currently ship with an onboard GPS. Because of this, Arrowhead does not comply with FAA Remote ID regulations and does require an external broadcast Remote ID Chip for outdoor operations.

FCC Compliance

At the customers request, Arrowhead can ship with a variety of radio links from the Microhard pMDDL product line and some select Doodle Labs radios. Be sure to check with your Uniform Sierra Aerospace representative, and the POC who conducted the system acquisition on behalf of your organization for more information on your specific radio link and compliance requirements.

Safety

The Arrowhead sUAS is a 5.1 inch quadcopter requiring high motor speeds to sustain flight. Although propeller guards mitigate the effect of head-on impacts with flat surfaces, they will not stop foreign objects from interacting with the spinning propeller. The propellers are made of plastic, but will lacerate skin when spinning at flight speeds. NEVER handle the aircraft while it is armed and avoid the propeller area while the battery is plugged in.

<aside> ❗

The propeller guards are designed to mitigate the effects of accidental collisions only. The Arrowhead is not intended to be flown intentionally into persons or objects.
