Required Tools


1x 2.5mm Hex Driver Earlier versions may utilize a smaller 1.5 mm driver for the motors

Steps


  1. Flip the aircraft, using the 2.5 mm driver, remove the 4 motor screws that are beneath the motor and embedded in the leg. If the four screws are fine, set them aside for reuse.

  2. Grab your spare leg, and a single screw. Thread the screw through the leg and into the motor, do not fully tighten it down. This will help keep everything together while we remount the motor and leg.

  3. Mount the other three screws, waiting for them all to be threaded before tightening them all down.

  4. Visually Inspect the motor screws, ensuring that no screws make contact with the copper windings of the motor. This should be impossible unless different screws are used.
