All Uniform Sierra Ground Control Stations (GCS) utilize mode 2 operation, the US standard for stick control: having throttle and yaw on the left stick and pitch and roll on the right stick.

GCS Operation

First, confirm the antennas are secured to the radio backpack of controller. Next, power on the device and then hold the radio power until the blue light turns on. QGroundControl will automatically open. Once the GCS is fully on, power on the Arrowhead and proceed with normal flight procedures.

To power off the GCS hold the Device Power button and follow the prompts on the screen. Store GCS completely off for the longevity of the system.

<aside> <img src="/icons/battery-charging_green.svg" alt="/icons/battery-charging_green.svg" width="40px" /> Note: When operating the controller with the backpack on, a 65W charger is needed to charge both the backpack and the tablet during use. Additionally, the radio backpack has a separate battery. The backpack and the tablet are usually at the same level of charge, but if you run the tablet all the way to zero, it may take longer for the backpack to reach a similar charge as the tablet.

Screen Recording

For screen recording on the UXV Navigator Tab 3 simply pull down twice from the upper right hand corner to bring up a drop down. (the first one will pull down the status bar and the second will pull down the actual menu). There will be a icon in the row of buttons that has a camera in a box

This is the screen record tool for Android. If this is your first time screen recording you will be prompted whether you wish to record the audio of the app. If you choose to record the audio, the app call outs such as low battery and flight mode will be captured on the recording.
