Important Notes About The Aircraft

The Arrowhead aircraft is a small semi-autonomous quadcopter constructed from plate carbon fiber, in addition to Fused Deposition Modeling (FMD) and Stereolithography (SLA) printed plastics. Arrowhead is equipped with a HD camera that streams 720p real time video back to the GCS. This camera is infrared sensitive in addition to visual light.

Arrowhead has 3 modes for flight:

  1. The primary flight mode is “Position”. This mode will keep the aircraft will maintain its relative position while hovering, and maintain altitude while the throttle is centered.
  2. “Altitude” mode is similar to position mode but will only hold the aircraft's vertical position, horizontal movement is managed fully by the operator in this mode.
  3. “Stabilize'' mode will only self level the aircraft and allow for the greatest amount of direct manual control.

All Uniform Sierra’s aircraft will not limit flight performance due to location or altitude. This ensures the system can be used wherever it is needed. While Arrowhead has propeller guards, the propellers can still create a hazard and the aircraft must be operated safely.

Regulations and Safety

</aside>

Arrowhead is designed and sold as an interior only UAS, this means the system is not remote ID compliant for exterior operations, if needed a broadcast module can be fitted to the system to allow for outdoor operations with line of sight. Attaching double stick tape to the top cap to provides a mounting surface for the remote ID device.
